D A Nelson

Everything’s gone a bit quiet on the DarkIsle front - well, compared to what was happening in September and October. I’m pleased to say that the book is selling really well and that Waterstone’s have taken it on board for their English outlets…which is fab! My hubby’s also been online looking to see where else is selling DarkIsle and apparently there are booksellers from as far afield as South Africa, the Netherlands and Canada selling it. So there you…we’ve gone global already! Can’t wait for the Spanish language, Italian, German, US and Korean editions to come out next year (I believe)!

On the personal front, I’ve got another week to go before the baby’s due. Can’t wait to see him or her. Feel like I’ve been pregnant forever.
In the meantime, I’ve been charging ahead with DarkIsle’s sequel and, despite a lot of people asking for hints about where the story is going, I am not going to reveal anything. All I can say is that all your favourite characters are in it, there are a few new ones and you get to find out what Marnoch Mor actually looks like!!
The other thing I’ll be doing over the coming weeks is contacting schools to find out if they’d like me to come and do a reading. I’m hoping to do more readings in the New Year. If you’d like me to come and read, contact me on: d-a-nelson@tiscali.co.uk
