D A Nelson

Xander 150

Haven’t managed to keep up this blog for one simple reason…I’ve been too busy looking after the latest arrival to the family, Alexander (Xander). He arrived just over two weeks ago and it’s been feeding, nappies and sleepless nights ever since. He’s a gorgeous wee thing and we all adore him, including his big sister, Emma, who’s been brilliant with him.

On the book front, I don’t have a lot of news to tell there. I’ve stopped doing readings until the New Year to let myself recover from having Xander. I will, however, be getting back to writing the sequel this week…something I’m really looking forward to. When I’m away from writing I really miss it, so it’ll be good to get back to the computer and the story.

In the meantime, we’re all gearing up for Christmas at our house and on the hunt for a new Christmas tree. Hubby fancies one of the long thin trees that have become quite fashionable over the last year, so I think we’ll be buying one of those. Can’t wait to do our traditional tree decorating.

Hope you lot have a great Christmas and a lovely New Year! Remember, if any of you want to contact me, you can email me on d-a-nelson@tiscali.co.uk ….sorry this address doesn’t link through to the email, haven’t quite got the hang of doing that yet for this website programme!! Maybe that’s something I should be learning during my time off for maternity leave!! Anyway, have a great time over the festive season!

Dawn xxx
